Trent Hills Emergency Response Centre

We have partnered with the Municipality of Trent Hills to design and construct a new Emergency Response Centre. The site for the new building is located at the corner of River Street and Doxsee Avenue in Campbellford. The Centre will house the Trent Hills Fire Department, administrative offices and Council Chambers as well as a detachment of the County’s Northumberland Paramedics.

Sustainability

Trent Hills and Northumberland County both strive to be leaders in the services we provide and are committed to innovation. As such, we are pursuing Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Silver Certification for the new Emergency Response Centre. LEED is a green building certification program.

With this project, we intend to focus on creating a positive and healthy experience for visitors and staff while prioritizing the building’s energy efficiency, and reducing and mitigating its environmental impact.

LEED buildings are known to focus on the occupants’ experience, conserve energy and drive innovation. In Canada, the LEED certification program is run by the national, not-for-profit organization called the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC).
