The Manager of Environmental Services oversees three departments: Housekeeping, Laundry and Building Maintenance.
Residents' rooms are cleaned daily by Housekeeping staff. Nursing staff ensure that residents' laundry is sent to the Laundry department where it is done in-house on a daily basis.
The Handypersons will label the resident's clothing when they arrive, (but don't forget to have new clothing marked before it is sent to be washed or it may be lost). New clothing may be given to personnel working in the Main Office for labelling.
Qualified Maintenance staff and contractors are available on a twenty-four hour basis. Handypersons are available to help if the resident needs a picture hung or furniture moved.
